This function exists to acknowledge moments where language regulation becomes excessive, performative, or detached from its original purpose.

OLEq does not fine.

NOTICE TYPES ISSUED BY OLEq

OLEq issues the following notices when deemed culturally appropriate:

OLE-101 — Linguistic Violation Notice

Issued when:

  • English is spoken clearly and politely

  • Communication is effective

  • No actual harm occurs

This notice confirms that no corrective action is required, despite recent confusion.

96-BS — Excessive Language Enforcement Warning

Issued when:

  • Fonts are audited without evidence of confusion

  • Business names are treated as threats

  • Administrative enthusiasm exceeds public benefit

Recipients are encouraged to pause, reflect, and consider proportionality.

BIM-01 — Bilingualism Misinterpretation Notice

Issued when:

  • A bilingual society is treated as unilingual

  • Enforcement replaces education

  • Everyone involved becomes quietly irritated

This notice carries no penalty, only disappointment.

AUTHORITY

OLEq enforcement notices carry:

  • No legal force

  • No financial consequence

  • No requirement for response

They are issued strictly for moral clarity and comic relief.
